Packaging Steps
Step No. 1 |
Be sure your hands are clean and
dry before handling the note(s). Always exercise the greatest care
when dealing with them.
Step No. 2 |
Tap the notes together against
a clean surface to arrange them in a neat pile.
Step No. 3 |
Open an inexpensive envelope wide
and insert the notes carefully.
Step No. 4 |
With the notes inside the envelope,
tap it against a clean surface horizontally. This will push the
notes neatly towards the bottom of the envelope.
Step No. 5 |
Fold the envelope horizontally
to limit the movement of the notes inside.
Step No. 6 |
Hold the envelope vertically and
tap it against a clean surface.
Step No. 7 |
It is always a good idea to hold
the envelope against a light before bending. This process allows
you to fold the envelope without harming the notes inside. Fold
the envelope vertically.
Step No. 8 |
Place this envelope inside a piece
of cardboard.
Step No. 9 |
DO NOT TAPE THE CARDBOARD. Taping
it may cause damage to the notes upon opening.
Step No. 10 |
Place the cardboard with its contents
inside another inexpensive envelope. Again, DO NOT TAPE the envelope
closed.
Step No. 11 |
Place this envelope inside another.
It should be slightly smaller than the final envelope to be sent.
If not, bend it against the cardboard inside.
Step No. 12 |
Tape the envelope shut horizontally.
Step No. 13 |
Secure the envelope with tape against
the vertical edges as well.
Step No. 14 |
Place the package inside the final
envelope.
Step No. 15 |
DO NOT TAPE the edges of the final
envelope as the post office may refuse it for this reason. You may
glue the envelope closed.
Step No. 16 |
Write the name and address of the
person to whom the note will be sent.
Step No. 17 |
Make sure your return address appears
on the back of the envelope.
